About Certified Interpretations & Translations

Certified Interpretations and Translations was founded in 2012 by El Paso native and University of Texas at El Paso alum Keila Reyes. Keila, having been born and raised in the dynamic and unique border city of El Paso and Juarez, Ms. Reyes found her immersive and native understanding of the English and Spanish languages and border culture necessary to navigate the ever-changing legal, commercial, and personal landscape of El Paso. Ms. Reyes is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso College of Languages and Linguistics with a baccalaureate degree in Linguistics.

Certified Interpretations and Translations offers court interpreter services (licensed by the Texas Judicial Branch Certification Commission and certified by the Administrative Offices of the Court in the State of New Mexico) and other professional interpretation and translation services from Mexican Spanish to American English and vice-versa.
